The Chautauqua County Humane Society (CCHS) kicks off the annual Pennies 4 Paws drive is on! Our goal this year is to raise $25,000 for the homeless pets that rely on CCHS life-saving services. CCHS Director of Fundraising and Communication, Brian Papalia said, “To celebrate the 120th anniversary or CCHS, we are making Pennies 4 Paws a year-round program to allow the opportunity for more schools, groups, and people to get involved.” Pennies 4 Paws ties directly into the CCHS mission of empowering the community to improve the lives of animals. Brian says we will be sharing our top Pennies 4 Paws participants, “There will be a special leader board on Chqhumane.org that will show who our top pennies donors are, and there will be a special recognition in late December.”
Brian said that it’s easy to get involved, “You can email bpapalia@chqhumane.org or message the CCHS Facebook page and we can send over the official 2025 Pennies 4 Paws canister wrap, so you can set up a donation canister. Canisters are also available for pick up at CCHS, 2825 Strunk Road in Jamestown.”
When you support Pennies 4 Paws you are helping to keep critical programs like adoptions, spay and neuter services, and the pet pantry alive. CCHS is not affiliated financially in any way with any other animal welfare organization. Our protocols and policies are unique to CCHS, a completely independent organization that does not receive any city, county, state, or federal tax funding. The important programs and services of the Chautauqua County Humane Society are possible only through the generosity of caring people and organizations who support CCHS.
